I haven't used Mod Podge before but I have a few things on my to-do list that would probably need it, I wanted to make some dress up doll magnets for my daughters and mod podge would help lots!

My bottle is almost empty. I plan to cover one, maybe two, of my bookshelves with a falling apart copy of Hemingway's A Farewell to Arms.

I love mod podge and am new to it. I've only tried the original but I use it on necklaces and as soon as my quilt rack paint dries I'm nod podging some cute paper to the back of it! Darn paint takes to long to dry!

I love Mod Podge! I just made myself a craft space using Mod Podge on a lot of things, everything from a sheet music covered wall to decoupaged cans and flower pots to hold pencils and scissors! What would I do next?! Create a growth chart for my little guy before he gets any taller!

I've only used modge podge once and loved it. I have many items that I want to use it on but the first would be these letters for my living room photo collage.

First, I want to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I really knew nothing about crafts before - I thought they were overrated. What a mistake!

I am amazed at what you can do with Mod Podge. My husband and I are trying to furnish our house on a students' budget. We are building a desk and want to use Mod Podge to finish it. It's going to be awesome!

Anonymous said...

Honestly-- I've never used Mod Podge before, but I keep hearing so much about it! I'd experiment until the whole bottle was gone! I'd search on every blog until I could find at least 10 different crafts that call for Mod Podge and do them all!

Unknown said...

I seriously put Mod podge on my shopping list for next week in order to decoupage some formula cans with fabric.
It would be awesome if I won.

Jenna said...

I would love some. It's on my Christmas List this year! I've never used it but would love to get started.

AS an off the page artist I could not survive without Mod Podge. And I always recomend it to those who I teach and also on my OTP Tutorial blog.

If I won this surprise pack I would make the recipe book holder I have sitting in my scrap room waiting to be done. Or I could do the single book shelf that has been waiting to be transformed for two years.

I could also make many of my altered tins of hope (out of coffee tins).

I've been making glass marble magnets with TACKY GLUE, can you believe it? Yes I seriously need Mod Podge but my husband thinks it's unneccessary. *sigh*

I want some Mod Podge! I just discovered it and have so many project ideas! I think my next one will be to make some sort of a name display for my daughter's room!

crewmom said...

There are so many things to do with mod podge but right now I have an idea to make a box for organizing my desk. I finally cleaned out and organized my office/piano room yesterday and need a place to put coupons from the mail or clipped from magazines until I have time to sit down and file them. I thought a shallow box covered in some neat paper would do the trick and look fun on my desk! Heres hoping I win and I can get that project done. Thanks for the chance.

My next Mod Podge project would be an altered lunchbox for my SIL who is having her 2nd child in like 6 weeks! I made one for her first and she absolutely loved it!
Thanks for the giveaway! :)

I would LOVE to get some Mod Podge (just like everyone else who's posted!). I JUST bought my very first bottle of it yesterday to use on making some cute picture frames like the project that was just posted on here. My son's toybox also needs to be revamped to something cute & more updated, so I am going to need LOTS of Mod Podge! Thanks for this blog, it's giving me all sorts of great ideas for Enrichment/Super Saturday & my own projects!!

I'm a recent convert to Mod Podge (it only took one project) and now I have a gazillion ideas. First some decoupaged letter inboxes, then some bedroom decor for my girls, and then I must attempt redoing some furniture and that's just to start. I never win though, that's okay, it's still fun sharing ideas!

I'm probably biting off more than I can chew, but for my first mod podge project, I want to redo a 70's-style, very ugly buffet. Some great fabric or paper on top and a great paint color for the base!

I have used Mod Podge to make scrapbook album covers and other paper projects. Probably my favorite project was a graduation gift for several of my students who had been officers in the class I had advised. I printed out pictures from their 4 years of high school and decoupaged them to blocks. Each student got for blocks, one to represent each year of high school. The kids loved the gift and although they have now graduated from college they have told me they still have those blocks as a keepsake!

I am an art teacher and would LOVE to use mod podge with my students! I can't afford it in my school budget, so if I got the mod podge I would do a fabulous, Matisse-inspired collage project with my elementary schoolers -- I would have them use brightly colored paper and fabric to make an interesting, vibrant collage on a small piece of card board. Once finished, we would paint over the collages with a layer or two of mod podge, giving the projects that fabulous mod-podge covering effect that makes the medium so fantastic!

Mary Ellen said...

Oh, what I would do with Modpodge! I have a tray that I've been wanting to do a fabric scrap mosaic on. A jar of Modpodge is all I need to finish the project. Thanks so much!

I have been meaning to make artwork for the bathroom but couldn't figure out how to guard against the moisture. I think a few coatings of mod podge would seal everything and make it moisture-resistant. I'm hoping anyway.

I'd mod podge a bunch of our mismatched picture frames so that we could display photos and look coordinated and artistic and less "this is the culmination of randomness we call our photos".

okay, i'd never even heard of mod podge until just a about a week ago. apparently, it's the miracle goo. i have the world's ugliest dresser from the 70's that i intend on painting and covering it with mossy oak camo for my son's room. then i want to try a table top, a vase or two, a trash can, a baby wipe container, and i saw some shoes done that my 3 yr old would be eternally grateful if i made her. i bet it'd work on a couple chairs too....

We just moved from a 3bedroom house to a 2 bedroom teeny tiny apartment for Law School. I'd use the Mod Podge with my son to make over our ugly ugly plain white dressers in his and his sister's room so we can feel like we live in a home instead of a dorm!

AllyB said...

Love the mod podge. Since I'm helping my daughter re-decorate her room, it'd be great for recovering little boxes ...or the big letter K she's had for at least 6 months that she hasn't finished. Lots of fun to be had with Mod Podge :)
