fundraising with razoo {and a giveaway!}

This post is part of a paid campaign with Razoo and The Blueprint Social but all opinions are my own.

Have you ever heard of Razoo? I hadn't until recently but it is a really cool site that I want to share with you!
Razoo is a movement of people who want to make generosity a part of everyday life. It helps users raise money for social good causes. I love that you can create a fundraiser for anything you feel is important and that you want to help with. Creating fundraiser and/or donating to a fundraiser are super simple and take very little time.

I recently created a fundraiser on Razoo to earn money for elementary school field trips. I was saddened when I learned of children at our school who weren't able to attend some field trips during the year because they could not afford the nominal fees. I feel like every child should be able to attend the field trips and have these great enrichment opportunities that they provide. Our PTA tries to help cover costs whenever they can, but sometimes funds are just not available. I wanted to try Razoo and see if I could collect some money towards my goal.

I encourage you to find a cause that you are passionate about and either create a fundraiser or donate to one that matches your interest! If we all do a little, we can really make a big difference!

Today, we are offering a giveaway for one of our readers to win $100 towards their own Razoo fundraiser! Leave a comment below telling us what fundraiser you have or will start on Razoo and you could be our lucky winner. We will pick a winner on July 1st. Good Luck!

Check out Razoo on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all the latest updates.

I am in a constant state of trying to raise money for research for Dravet Syndrome, a rare, epilepsy disorder that my son has. I have committed to raising $30,000 and am about a third of the way there. Maybe Razoo is my next avenue :)
Thanks for the chance to win!

I would use the $100 to start a Razoo fund for my daughter's Girl Scout troop. The girls are renovating a playground at a local children's home

I would raise funds for CURED, an organization that raises funds to help research to find a cure for Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Diseases (EGIDs). My son has eosinophilic duodenitis and was diagnosed at 18 months. He has spend the last two years with severe diet restrictions and requires a feeding tube and a hypoallergenic medical formula to get enough calories to grow.

I son's middle school band needs new uniforms and they raise money for band trips.

I help a group of phenomenal parents, each of whom has a child who has suffered a non-fatal near drown. So little is know about the after affects of near drowning, which for most is severe anoxic brain injury. I make custom quilts for these children, specifically designed for each child. This way they can take something familiar with them for their many hospitalizations.
