When we first moved to Seattle, my dear friend Stacy invited us over for dinner. She said she would be making Indian food and I was a little worried. I had never tried Indian food before and I thought I wouldn't like it. I was completely wrong! Stacy made chicken korma and I couldn't get enough. My husband and I left her house raving over the food. Since then, I have learned to make all sorts of Indian dishes as well as many other Asian recipes. Much to the credit of Stacy who has given me so many tips along the way. Last night I made a recipe from my friend, Caulene. Chicken Tikka Masala is always a big hit at our house. Even my boys love it! This version is so easy since you don't have to stand over the stove.

Looks yummy. Thanks for sharing.
mmm looks good - although i'll make mine a veggie one and use Realeat xx
mmmmm! gonna go buy myself some garam masala!
Wondering how spicy this is? I have little kids that don't appreciate too much spice yet ;)
that looks yummie! I am going to try that!
We love chicken tikka masala but have never made it - this looks so easy we might try it this weekend! Thanks!
mrspelly--it has really nice flavor to it, but it's not very hot spicy. Just omit the red pepper. I have one son who doesn't do too well with spicy and he loves it!
Mmm, I can't wait to try this! Indian food is so yummy, but I haven't really tried cooking it. You are inspirational. :)
Being from the UK, I couldn't help but be slightly amused by this post. Chicken Tikka Masala is officially recognised now as 'Britain's true national dish'.
Having grown up in a town that holds the largest Diwali celebration outside of India, Indian food has been part of my diet since I was young.
We eat Indian dishes at least twice a week and my 2yr old Daughter loves a curry!
Now, for a real treat, look up recipes for Barfi, a delicious Indian sweet.
I have never made anything like that. We are going to try it tonight:)
wow! it sounds great! i would try it ASAP. thanz for sharing
Love Chicken Tikka Masala, and this recipe is WAY easier than mine (mine is of the stand over the stove variety). Looks like we'll be making it more often! Thanks!
Mmmm that looks good! I love indian food but I've never been brave enough to try cooking it. Maybe I will attempt this one.

Just made it tonight. Delicious and super simple!
DELISH! The picture makes my mouth water. I have to say I am glad you are my friend too.
This looks yummy! I must try it. Do you happen to have the recipe for chicken korma to share?
have you ever tried this in the crockpot?
Tiffany, I have never tried it in the crock pot but I bet it would work well! I have a lot of recipes where you just cook on low for 8 hrs. Maybe that would work!
Thanks for the recipe. I use a spice mix from our local Indian grocer and make my own paratha to go with it. I'm going to try your recipe tonight. By any chance, did you get the korma recipe from your friend and, if so, would she and you be willing to share it? Thanks! P.S. I have made several of the easy crochet afghans and they are BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for posting!!!
