Spring has sprung! My daffodils have popped up, I wake up to birds chirping outside my window, and everything is coming alive. It inspired me to dust off my card-making supplies!
Using my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, I made this card.
I just had to use my Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder. I love it so much! It adds a wonderful, overall texture to the card. In the middle on the patterned paper, I used the Top Note Stampin' Up! Bigz Die. And the bird flair button? Love. I have quite the obsession with flair buttons. So adorable.
The only thing I am missing is a sentiment of some sort in the bottom right hand corner. That's where I need your help. What occasion do you think this card should be for? Happy Spring, Thank You, Easter, Friendship, Baby? I'd love to hear what you would use it for.

I think I would like to send it as a 'just becuase' or 'hello' card, so would just add a friendly sentiment, like "hi" or even "you're tweet!"

I was thinking of doing something similar with a bird stamp I have with the words
A little birdie told me.... and then I can put Happy Birthday, It's Spring, etc on the inside.

What do birds do? Tirili? Tweet, tweet? Sing a song?

I would use it as an encouragement card. I have a friend that's having a rough time, and he needs something like this!

Actually it would work for any of those, but I think it would be a precious baby card!
Baby boy card! there are so many babies being born this spring...or maybe that's just here in happy valley.

I love it when cards with birds say "Just a note...". And I would have to add some music notes. Then you could but what ever you need to express on the inside - Just a note ... To say Happy Birthday/Easter/Spring whatever.
On the front "A little birdie told me..." and inside, "It's your birthday" or "You have a son!"
...or "you need this note of encourage..."
or "...It's Spring Time!"
Depending on who it is for :-)

That's one cheerful card! I used to love making cards, but no matter how I loved it, I always tended to screw it in the end. :( But it's so nice to see handmade cards like this one.
I looked at the card and immediately thought it would be a sweet addition to a packed lunch for a loved one...(child or sweetheart) so,
"for a real tweetie" or "for my tweetie"
Tweet me or Sing a new song.
"I miss you!"
Baby card -- Welcome Little One
I would make it a baby card that says: "It's a boy'd!"
Rather than its a boy -- playing up on the pronunciation of bird as boid... yeah, having to explain this might be making the point its not a brilliant suggestion?
I would use it as a baby card with the sentiment: Blessings await

This isn't spring related really but I would make it into an encouragement card... maybe with the sentiment "Be Gentle with Yourself"
