santa's little helper {welcome baby}

Look what Santa brought me for Christmas!
 Introducing Jonas Christian, the newest little birdie baby.

 Arrived on Santa's sleigh December 24th at 7 lbs. 11 oz.

Best Christmas present ever! 

I took a little maternity leave, but I'm itching to get crafting again. Many thanks to dear Jessica and friends like Shelley and Erin for giving me the chance to stay in bed until 10am, ignore my e-mail, and stare at that little face during the last month. It has been heavenly. But it's time to start showering regularly and getting out of my pajamas before the kids get home from school (at least that's what my husband tells me). So new tutorials and projects are coming soon. . . Until then, I have a few things to keep you busy.

First, here are a few of our past baby tutorials that have come in handy for me so far:

I'm still up all night, typing blog posts with one hand, and sneaking in projects between naps, so be patient with me, but it's great to be back!

    Congratulations on the new one!!! My oldest was born Dec 23rd and my son has a daughter born on Christmas Eve. We always stop all Christmas celebrations on those days - always. My DD said she thought she got better birthdays than her siblings. I'm just glad she wasn't upset about being upstaged!

    Congratulations! Love the name (Our middle child is a Jonas. When we drove home from the hospital with him, his dad played Weezer's My Name is Jonas). I picked the name for the meaning, Dove. Hoping for a peaceful addition. Ha! I hope your Jonas brings you as much joy and as many smiles and laughs as ours does to us.

    Congrats on your new little one! He is adorable! One thing I learned from having a sister born on Christmas Eve--make sure you never combine the gifts--unless he is ok with it! lol Our extended family always did that to her and she got the short end of the stick. I always felt so bad for her.
