valentine card swap EXTENSION

This is just a quick note for all of our wonderful Valentine card swap participants. Saturday, January 31 was our deadline to have cards in for the swap. However, we have only received about half of the cards from our 62 participants. Maybe a few are in the mail and we'll get them tomorrow. A few people also contacted us to say they never received our e-mail with the deadline and mailing details. We're hoping a few more of you had the same problem but still want to participate! If so, you're in luck.

We've decided to extend the deadline for cards to be received to Wednesday, February 4. PLEASE, if you signed up and there is any way you can finish your cards and get them in the mail on Monday, we, and all the participants who have already sent their cards in, would really appreciate it. We know there could be extenuating circumstances for some of you, but we're also feeling badly for all the participants who got their cards in by the deadline. They could end up with only a few cards in return. :( We're trying to get the cards swapped and returned by February 9, so everyone has time to use their cards before Valentine's.

If for some reason you know you will not be able to complete your obligation for this swap, please e-mail us and let us know. That way we can gather a few local friends to make up some cards in your place.

Thank you to everyone who got their cards in early! It has been so fun to open my mailbox each day and see it stuffed full! You're going to love the package you get back!

  2. You would need to send us 15 cards by Wednesday the 4th. We'd be happy to have you if you can do it! Thanks!

  3. Mine went out today via Priority mail...14 cards to you as instructed...since I didn't want one of mine back! What a terrific experience (nothing like jumping in with both feet for a first time experience!)
