uupp giveaway

One of the best things about blogging is being introduced to wonderful fellow bloggers and creative friends. We also get to pass those great discoveries onto all of you! Today, we have a great giveaway from a great etsy shop called UUPP.


UUPP, sells unique and customized art prints for home décor and gifts. I started my store UUPP, because of some difficult challenges that came my families way over the past few years. Being a creative person, I chose to channel my creativity into making art that made me smile and feel hopeful; uplifting quotes, yummy cupcakes, wisdom from Julia Child, things about life, laughter, faith. It helped me tremendously and it is so nice to ‘share’ this good energy with others. My work speaks through vintage papers, expressive typography, colorful patterns and textures, and occasionally some polka dots, just to be dangerous...

    I loved the "Storms of Life" card. I have always been told by my father, a retired navy officer, that we cannot control the waves or the storms of life, but a ship is steered by the waves in the sails and by its small rudder.

    My dad has gotten very sick (he has a deteriorating brain disease) and very often he has no idea what's going on. I wish I had listened more to his advice :)

    I love the print that says, "Have a heart that never hardens, a temper that never tires, a touch that never hurts." As a nurse, wife, and new mommy this is a nice reminder :)

    "Oh Coffee, how I love thee" is so my daughter!!! It brings a smile to my face, thinking about this quote and her.

    I personally love "do small things with great love". i wish I had understood this earlier in my life. Society tells us to do great big things, and that it's okay to have a hollow heart as you do them.

    I am a die hard Austen fan and just watched Pride and Prejudice TWICE in one day! This is also something I would have to get myself since my husband doesn't even know what ETSY is....Oh, but he is good!

    I love the one from Jane Austen's "Emma": "Marry me, my wonderful, darling friend." I also love the Mr. Darcy one "I love you most ardently" and "I never wish to be parted with you from this day on"...sensing a trend? The family rules are perfect too.     My favorite would have to be the Smile one. It's adorable and I love it. I would hang it right next to my bed so everyday, that is one of the first things I would see!!
