Have you started thinking about your Halloween costumes for this year? I always get a little overwhelmed by how much it can cost to buy everyone in my family a costume. Luckily, I can pass them down through my three boys each year. There are also so many great ideas out there for DIY Halloween costumes. We have featured several ideas on our blog in the last few years that you can check out and I also wanted to share a few fun and clever ideas with you.
My brother and sister-in-law are Halloween costume pros! Every year they come up with some really fun idea for costumes and they make them or find pieces to put together themselves.
They have also been the smurfs. This is a perfect idea for this year because Smurfs 2 just recently came out! If you can find or make some smurf shaped hats, the rest is easy to pull together!
One of my all time favorites that they did was American Gladiators. Remember that show?!
They've also come up with really fun, yet simple costumes for the kids as well!
My niece was a waitress. I loved it and again...so simple to put together!

I loved when my nephew was a secret agent. It is super easy to put together, but what kid wouldn't think that is cool?

Hey, I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for the Gather Love baby quilt tutorial you did for Riley Blake. I finally found the perfect person to make it for, and it turned out so, so cute. It's an inventive and unique pattern. LOVE it!
