Spring has sprung! My daffodils have popped up, I wake up to birds chirping outside my window, and everything is coming alive. It inspired me to dust off my card-making supplies!
Using my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine, I made this card.
I just had to use my Perfect Polka Dot Impressions folder. I love it so much! It adds a wonderful, overall texture to the card. In the middle on the patterned paper, I used the Top Note Stampin' Up! Bigz Die. And the bird flair button? Love. I have quite the obsession with flair buttons. So adorable.
The only thing I am missing is a sentiment of some sort in the bottom right hand corner. That's where I need your help. What occasion do you think this card should be for? Happy Spring, Thank You, Easter, Friendship, Baby? I'd love to hear what you would use it for.
It would make a cute Easter card :)
ReplyDeleteBee happy x
Have a delicious day!
I think it makes a cute Happy Spring card!
ReplyDelete"May the bluebird of happiness visit you today!"
Love your card!
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to send it as a 'just becuase' or 'hello' card, so would just add a friendly sentiment, like "hi" or even "you're tweet!"
Hope this helps! I'd love to see what you decide ;)
Hugs, Ruth S
I like the "you're tweet!" idea very cute
ReplyDeleteMaybe a birthday card?
ReplyDelete"A little bird told me it was your birthday!"
I was thinking of doing something similar with a bird stamp I have with the words
ReplyDeleteA little birdie told me.... and then I can put Happy Birthday, It's Spring, etc on the inside.
Stacy
LOVE the "you're tweet" idea! I would use it for something fun, something just to say "hi!" or "thank you!"
ReplyDeleteWhat do birds do? Tirili? Tweet, tweet? Sing a song?
ReplyDelete"Chirp!"
ReplyDeleteI would use it as a baby boy card. but I'm practical that way.
ReplyDeleteSpring (on the outside)
ReplyDeletehas sprung (on the inside)
it's a lovely card for a new born baby ... a little baby boy...
ReplyDeletebrazilian hugs
Hello Friend(Spring)or Sending Happy Thoughts Your Way
ReplyDeleteI would use it as an encouragement card. I have a friend that's having a rough time, and he needs something like this!
ReplyDeleteOpen your wings... (front)
and fly into your future. (inside)
Actually it would work for any of those, but I think it would be a precious baby card!
ReplyDeleteBaby boy card! there are so many babies being born this spring...or maybe that's just here in happy valley.
ReplyDeleteIt is so cute! Any occasion card, but i would use it for thank you card.
ReplyDeleteHow about "They Say It's Spring." It's the name of an old jazz song by Blossom Dearie.
ReplyDeleteVery cute card!!
I'm terrible with wording but I will say, there is an AMAZING photo. XOX
ReplyDeleteI love it when cards with birds say "Just a note...". And I would have to add some music notes. Then you could but what ever you need to express on the inside - Just a note ... To say Happy Birthday/Easter/Spring whatever.
ReplyDeleteOn the front "A little birdie told me..." and inside, "It's your birthday" or "You have a son!"
ReplyDelete...or "you need this note of encourage..."
or "...It's Spring Time!"
Depending on who it is for :-)
"You're so tweet!"
ReplyDeleteThat's one cheerful card! I used to love making cards, but no matter how I loved it, I always tended to screw it in the end. :( But it's so nice to see handmade cards like this one.
ReplyDeleteI looked at the card and immediately thought it would be a sweet addition to a packed lunch for a loved one...(child or sweetheart) so,
ReplyDelete"for a real tweetie" or "for my tweetie"
Tweet me or Sing a new song.
ReplyDelete"I miss you!"
ReplyDeleteBaby card -- Welcome Little One
ReplyDeleteI would make it a baby card that says: "It's a boy'd!"
ReplyDeleteRather than its a boy -- playing up on the pronunciation of bird as boid... yeah, having to explain this might be making the point its not a brilliant suggestion?
I would use it as a baby card with the sentiment: Blessings await
ReplyDeleteSpring has sprung ... time for fun!
ReplyDeleteCUTE card!! Thanks for showing it!
Little birdie told me- it's spring!
ReplyDeleteThis isn't spring related really but I would make it into an encouragement card... maybe with the sentiment "Be Gentle with Yourself"
