The monster quilt is finished. Can't you hear them? My son is so happy he now has a new quilt to use. I am pretty happy with how it turned out too. Whaddaya think?
Aah!!! I LOVE that!! Where did you get that fabric? I hate "typical" little boy motifs like sports and pastel blue. We made my first son's linens for his room with matching paintings based on some pirate fabric. We've been keeping our eyes out for fabric for my second son, and I LOVE this monster fabric! I want it!!!
I looked at your previous post about the quilt and saw that you got it at JoAnn Fabrics! Amazing! Sometimes there are some real gems there! That's where we got the pirate fabric. I wonder if they still have some! I will DEFINITELY be looking on Saturday.
You've got a great blog here & lots of good ideas for tots. I've got a MckLinky party called Tot Tuesday. I hope you'll stop by link up: http://delicious-ambiguity-nennyk.blogspot.com/2010/03/tot-tuesdays-2.html
Love it! My baby has a monster room and this would be super cute with it. I'll have to consider a quilt when he gets older and doesn't sleep in sleepsacs. :) Thanks for sharing.
I love these monsters! Thanks for sharing your talents. I appliqued one of these monsters on a little onsie for a baby gift, turned out super cute thanks to your picture.
I LOVE this quilt and so does my son! Everyday since he saw the pictures, he has asked me when we are going to make his! Did you piece the big monsters together or did you use an applique? And would you mind maybe posting some instructions for those of us who have never done a quilt? Thank! :D
We are going to be re-doing my son's bedroom for his birthday in a monster theme...I may have to try and make something like this for him! Thanks for the inspiration!!
