easy apple dip

I love apples. I also love something sweet to dip them in. A few years ago when I tasted this apple dip at my mother-in-law's house, I was in love. I asked her for the recipe and I was in awe of how easy it was. I have been making it for my family ever since and they all love it. It is perfect for anytime of year, but I especially love it in the summer and fall when we are doing lots of BBQs. Make sure you have lots of apples on hand when you make this dip, because they will fly out of the bowl!

Easy Apple Dip

1 (8oz) package of cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together until smooth and creamy.

See....I told you it was easy! Enjoy!

  3. I'll have to try this! We love dressing up fruit with dips for special occasions and picnics.

I've made an apple/pear dip before out of canned pumpkin, cream cheese, and brown sugar which is great for the Fall, and in the summer time I make a marshmallow creme/cream cheese dip with almond extract that goes great with berries and melons.

  5. My mother-in-law introduced me to this dip and it is my favorite! I have had it with toffee bits as well, and it is super yummy. A tip from my m.i.l. for the apples--soak the slices in unsweetened pineapple juice overnight and they will retain extra sweetness and will not turn brown. Yummy!

  11. We make this too but don't use powdered sugar and add cinnamon. Super yummy. We dip pretzels in it too. And if you dip carrots in it, it'll taste like carrot cake. YUMMY

  15. I can't wait to try this out. The dip I use for apples (actually all fruit) is similar and super easy as well.

One bottle marshmellow fluff (7 oz)
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese

Whip them together - SOOOO good.
