One of our readers forwarded us
this link for these gorgeous glittered pumpkins for Halloween or Thanksgiving centerpieces (thanks, Megan!). Check out MarthaStewart.com to watch a
video tutorial by the Queen of Crafts herself.
Try this idea with foam pumpkins that you can use year after year!
Thank you SO much for posting this! I actually seen the Martha show when she did this and of course I never wrote it down! I'm very excited to make these this year (If I get time!)
ReplyDeleteThanks again!!
That's beautiful! Thanks for posting! I love doing other things with pumpkins, in addition to the traditional carving. I saw one the other day that was spray painted with chalkboard paint and you could write Halloween greetings on the pumpkin with chalk. So cute! I also saw another one with a monogrammed letter made out of upholstery tacks (that may be hard to imagine. I may try to send you pictures of that one. Or you could look for it in the blog/craft world.)
ReplyDeleteAgain Mandy, love all your ideas!! I got a cute comment from Lindsey on my blog. Is there any way to get in contact with her? Does she have a blog or email?? I would love to hear how she is doing! I have to be honest, I envy you... you are so talented!
ReplyDeleteI love the trend towards using glitter that I see everywhere. I love sparkly things!
ReplyDeleteGlitter seems to be the new craze! I'm excited to try it out! This might be one of my Sunday projects. Thanks for passing it along...
ReplyDeleteMartha's just amazing, isn't she? Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm glad SITS led you my direction! I hope to see you again!
